LineGrabber Wireless Phone Line Seizure for Aegis Home Medical Alert System

The LineGrabber is an inexpensive device that is used in those situations where there is more than one phone or other device in the household that uses the same line as the Aegis Medical Alert base unit. It immediately disconnects any given extension phone (or computer, fax, etc.) that is using the same line as the base unit thereby allowing the alarm signal to go through. Using a LineGrabber ensures that the phone line is free when the Aegis Medical Alert System needs to send the alarm signal to the 24 hour Aegis Monitoring Center.

Use of these devices on all phones or devices that use the same line as the Aegis Medical Alert System base unit is necessary to ensure that the system will send the alarm signal regardless of the use of other phones or devices on the same line. They are inexpensive and easy to install.
